What's New for 2015 Jeep Wrangler
The 2015 Jeep Wrangler continues in being what it always has been: the definition of the word Jeep. If you are looking for the iconic, go-anywhere Jeep, look no further than Momentum Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram serving the off-road adventurers of Fairfield, Vallejo, and Concord, CA.
Every 2015 Jeep Wrangler is built to excel in the off-road environment. The powertrain on all Wrangler models consists of a 3.6-liter V6 making 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft.of torque. Select a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission with hill start assist. All Wranglers have four-wheel drive, but the Rubicon model comes with an extra-low crawling gear range for real rock crawling ability.
For 2015, the Wrangler is available in Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon varieties. Even on the entry level Sport you get creature comforts like cruise control, tilt steering, and an eight-speaker audio system with steering wheel controls, CD player, and auxiliary input jack. The Wrangler Sport S package adds air conditioning, 17" alloy wheels and a few other niceties. Add the Power Convenience package to that and get power windows and locks, plus keyless entry. For an affordable Wrangler with more off-road ability, choose the Willys Wheeler package with the 3.73 gearing ratio, HD suspension, limited slip differential, special trim, and "Willys" badging, plus tinted windows and an upgraded infotainment with Uconnect voice commands and Bluetooth. The Sahara Wrangler includes standard equipment like 18" alloy wheels, heavy duty suspension, 110v outlet, tinted windows, and more. If you are looking for the ultimate off-road Jeep, you want a Wrangler Rubicon with special BF Goodrich off-road tires, lower axle ratio, upgraded Dana 44 front axle, upgraded transfer case, and electronic locking differentials for front and back axles. For even more off-road chops there is the Rubicon Hard Rock special package, which comes with special trim, bumpers, and hood; plus heated leather seats and an upgraded Alpine sound system.
Many options can be added to any Wrangler without buying a whole package. Especially noteworthy are the available hard top and optional upgraded soft top options. Much of the off-road equipment can be had piecemeal too.
The 2015 Jeep Wrangler is the most recent evolution of the original military Jeep that won WWII, updated for the 21st century. Visit Momentum CDJR in Vacaville and take one for a test drive to see just how far these off-road masters have come.
